The Art of Snail Mail is every post lover's companion to sending mail, inspiring you to connect with your crafty side and your loved ones. Martina Calvi starts out with the basics, sharing the ritual of letter writing, the anatomy of a beautiful letter, how to create your unique signature and make your own wax seals and envelopes. With tips on finding pen pals and starting a snail mail club, community is at the heart of Martina's third book.
These 20 projects encourage you to reach out, including:
- Create a bold sticker letter
- Write and fold miniature 'open when...' letters for moments of connection
- Discover ideas for compiling a cozy care kit
- Stitch an embroidered postcard
- Write and design a tiny newspaper to celebrate life's everyday achievements
- Craft a letter they can listen to
- Cut out an impressive cobweb secret message letter
A love letter to real analog post, The Art of Snail Mail is a true celebration of sentimentality and creativity.

Ope is for folks who appreciate perfectly imperfect handmade gifts, who find value in taking the time to do something by hand. Folks who collect stickers everywhere they travel and document their lives in a scrapbook.
If you rely on good ol’ pen and paper, keep a backstock of greeting cards for any occasion, and are pen-pals with your long-distance friends – Ope is for you!
